The pun in that headline is so, so bad. It doesn’t even work. Yet I can’t resist.
Geoff at Two Wheel Transit asked if I’d lead a women’s bike ride for the awesome folks at Title Nine in the South Perry District (where TWT is moving this fall!). What could be more fun than to meet, go for a bike ride, and maybe shop or get coffee afterwards? (Hey, that sounds suspiciously like a bikespedition!)

So here it is: Your invitation to join the ride. It’s meant to be beginner-friendly so I’ve mapped out a route that makes use of quiet side streets, signed bike routes, bike lanes, a stretch of the Centennial Trail, and Spokane’s newest complete street (Martin Luther King, Jr. Way).
Meet up at Title Nine–which, not coincidentally, sells some really cute clothing that works for riding, walking, and other active transportation–Saturday, June 23, at 11 a.m. ready to ride.
Our loop of around 7-ish miles will take less than an hour and you can sip and shop after. So bring a friend, bring your bikes and helmets, and come ride with us!
